Question by tresfrijoles: How can I locate the sweetbreads?
I’ll be butchering a lamb over the holiday and would like to last but not least locate the throat sweetbreads (thymus gland). I know the common region but how can I locate them precisely?

Are you joking or am I misinformed. I was advised it is not in the throat location at all, but the testicules. lol

The sweetbreads are the glands under the jaw near the throat. But, unless your butchering several lambs, you won’t get enough to make a meal out of.
